Privacy
We make personalized party games. Here is plainly what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- What you enter on the order form: your name, email, which game you ordered, party date, optional passcode, and the facts and stories you share about your guest of honor.
- The photos you upload.
- Order-form details are kept in our Netlify form inbox; photos and published games are kept in Netlify storage.
- Payment goes through PayPal. We see the payer's name and the amount, not card details.
- Basic technical data our host (Netlify) records to run the site, such as IP addresses used for rate-limiting uploads and passcode attempts.
How we use it
Only to build, deliver and support your game. We don't sell or share your information, and we never use your photos for advertising or as public samples without your written permission.
How long we keep it
- Order emails (your confirmation and "game is ready" messages) are logged for 90 days so we can resend them, then deleted.
- Game feedback is optional and anonymous unless you add your name or email. We only quote you if you tick "Can we quote you?".
- Raw uploaded photos are deleted automatically 30 days after your last upload, or sooner once your game is delivered.
- Family memories and survey answers sent through a contribution link are deleted automatically 30 days after they were submitted.
- Your published game (with compressed copies of the photos you chose) stays at its private link for 12 months after publishing. After that the link stops working unless you ask us to extend it.
- Your keepsake download is a file you keep. Once downloaded, it's yours and it lives on your device.
Who can see your game
Game links use long random addresses that aren't listed, linked or indexed by search engines. If you set a passcode, the passcode is checked on our server before the game or the keepsake download is sent. Anyone you share the link (and passcode) with can play, so share it only with your guests. We can replace a link or take a game down whenever you ask.
Leaderboards
If you choose to post a score, we store only the nickname you type, the score and the date. Please don't use your real full name. Demo game leaderboards are public. Leaderboards inside a custom game can only be seen by people who have that game's link (and passcode, if one is set), and they are deleted when the game is taken down. To prevent spam we briefly keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address in a rate-limit counter. It isn't linked to your nickname. Offline keepsake files keep score history only on the device that played them. Want a score removed? Email us.
Deleting your data
Email jubinook@gmail.com with your order ID and we'll delete your photos, order details and published game.
